The workshop was organised by Parisar and the Road Safety Network from 17th to 19th April 2018, at Pride Hotel Pune. The main focus was to facilitate interactions with the Bloomberg Initiative for Global Road Safety (BIGRS) partners and other state level stakeholder in Maharashtra to explore opportunities
for collaboration and cooperation. Another important objective was to identify and agree on strategies for legislative and policy options at the national and state level to strengthen road safety policies and implementation in line with Motor Vehicle Amendment Bill (MVAB) and develop an action plan for the next 6 months for the campaign at the national and state level.

Road safety partners from different cities like Jaipur, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai participated along with respresentatives from the Global Road Safety Partnership based in Geneva.
