The project has been conceived with the aim of having civil society-driven adoption of meaningful low-carbon mobility initiatives in cities, leading to a reduction of GHG emissions from the urban transport sector while improving mobility and access to mobility for all sections of society. The project seeks to mobilize support for low-carbon mobility by conducting city-specific discussions, widening engagement with civil society, and supporting local advocacy efforts.
This initiative is funded by the IKI small grants initiative and is phased out in three parts. The following map details the 3 phases of the project and elaborates more on the Phase 1 conducted.
